they were batting .175, the lead was safe. They reversed the curse. They couldn't hit shit for 4 games, you think they could have "magically" turned it around in one inning? I seriously doubt it.

On another note, did you see SC this morning? Sox and the Cards have the exact same OBP, BA, and ERA through the ALCS, and the NLCS.

Cards vs. Sox, helluva WS this will be.

i'm officially worried about a letdown now. i mean, we've seen the yankees do it time and time again after beating the sox. last year is a perfect example with the marlins.

the yankees lost to a good marlins team last year. the cards and and astros are great teams. i'm worried.

you should be glad doucheschnozzle is already writing the cards in. The Astros have no chance with Roger Clemens on the hill.

here is what i heard on espn this morning. there were concerns about lowe's arm and further injury/wear and tear. they had set a window for him to pitch within and nothing more. but i've always said, win the game you're in and worry about the next game IF you get there. i was squirming in my seat when pedro came in and even more when timlin was trying to nibble the corners instead of going right after the yankee batters. francona was wearing out that chewing gum, i swear i saw him put 3 fresh sticks in his mouth on consecutive dugout camera shots.... :laugh1:
