Are you trying to tell me that he could not have pitched in those games if he had not pitched last night?

Plus, I would rather have him pitc games 2 and 6. He is much better at Fenway than he is away.

I know what it is. FOX and MLB paid has paid the RED SOX to take it easy on the AStros/Cards so they can makes tons of money on the series and a game 7. MLB has promised the SOX victory but they have to do their part in the cover up. Pedro pitching in the deciding game 7.

yep..thats it. Francona knew Pedro wouldnt be pitching for 7 days so he let him get in an inning last night to keep him in shape.

this monarchs guy is making no sense. pedro's #'s this year on an extra days rest are twice as good as on regular rest. your pitching 1 inning so he could pitch games 3 and 4 theory is stupid.

taking him out was a good call. Get him more rest so he can be more effective in the WS. The game was over. 8-3, I believe it was. The Yankees couldn't buy a hit, that was obvious the last 3 games of the series. So, that was the right move, game was over, rest D-Lo.

it was 8-1 going into the bottom of the 7th. NO LEAD is ever safe against the yankees, much less when playing the sox. lowe had pitched 6 innings and gave up 1 hit. his stuff was on. the sinker was down, he wasn't wild, he was cruising. haven't seen a pitch count, but i don't recall him striking too awful many out, so the pitch count shouldn't have been high either.

IF you pull lowe, and i still wouldn't agree with it, DO NOT put pedro in. he should have been used only if it was do or die, which. it wasn't at that time. francona got the fans back in the game and i felt like we GAVE them 2 runs in that inning.

agree 100%. IF the Yankees had come back and won, Francona would have been fired already.
