    Manhunter and Red Dragon are the same story, based on the novel entitled 'Red Dragon'.

    Whether you like Brad Pitt or not, SEE FIGHT CLUB! It is a much different movie than it appears, and I don't say this often: a great movie. I didn't want to see it either, and never would have, but a friend insisted. Be sure to be able to pay attention or you'll miss it.

    My friend saw it and didn't realize the manhunter connection... doh! He was disappointed because the suspense was pretty much gone since he knew the story...

    I remember when Silence of the Lambs was big, they took Manhunter and put it on TV as "Red Dragon: The Curse of Hannibal Lector". I tuned in and said "HEY! This is Manhunter!" (only I didn't really say it).

    And Fight Club is a really good movie. Brad Pitt or no Brad Pitt.

    Finally saw it. Great movie. Predictable, but good.

    I downloaded it Thursday and watched it Friday while the boss was out. It was okay. I really didn't care for the retired detective guy. A matter of bad casting IMHO. Otherwise, it was pretty good.
