    Is it a sequel or prequel? I know that man hunter is already been made (the original prequel) but it was before Silence of the Lambs and low budget so no one really knows about it. Is this a re-do of that or an entire new installment?

    If it's anything like the book I think it will be good. My only problem is it's directed by Brett Ratner. Rush Hour for God's sake! That's like asking Rob Cohen to direct a new version of the Godfather.

    Don't get me wrong. It's cast beautifully, but in a movie like this the director is vital. As long as it's better than Hannibal and Manhunter, that's good enough for me.

    Manhunter was great. William Peterson, Michael Mann, and Iron Butterfly.

    It's a prequel. The events that take place in the movie are before Silence of the Lambs.
