    Fine then... link?

I've never stated that any of them were in Oden's league. Simply that this is a better class than in recent years. You've yet to provide me with anything to disprove any of that. Just that you've heard it. So go ahead and post me a link where it says that this years class is weaker than recent classes. Or hell that it lacks NBA calibur players after Oden. Feel free to post it since you've read it.

I would say he is for sure the best prospect, but I wouldn't put him that far ahead of everybody. There are definately a few others who wouldbe drafted in the lottery if they decided to go pro.

This years class had (25)5 star recruits and next years has (30)5 star recruits, not sure what the past few years have had yet, but guess I could look those up.

This info is from Rivals. Of course the 2006 class could still go up and down.

Per Scout (But they also throw in a couple JC guys so they could be on the list more tha once. I'm not goon bother figuring that out.)
    2002 - 27
    2003 - 19
    2004 - 29
    2005 - 24
    2006 - 28
    2007 - 25 (so far)
    2008 - 18 (so far)

The last two could change a TON since there's so much time between when they'll play. PLayers could develop and some drop off the map.

Why does everyone always ask for a link, especially when they're too lazy to post their own? Where is your link?

You're still trying to pretend that I said there weren't any other lottery-pick players when I didn't say anything of the sort. I said that only Oden was considered a sure-fire NBA superstar, which according to most sources, is absolutely true. I also said that he's considered quite a bit better than anyone else in the class, which is also true. The suggestion that several of the other recruits would have gone in the lottery is no surprise considering that high schoolers of high talent but questionable futures have been going regularly in the lottery (does Andrew Bynum ring a bell?), so it means nothing. If you want to argue with me, find anything anywhere that suggests that Oden isn't the only "sure-fire future NBA superstar" in this class.

So basically you're pussing out and not providing a link... and as for what you said.
You also noted that many "experts" agree with you. Like I said please provide this information from those experts. Since you already knew of these sources you've read I'm SURE it'll be that much faster for you to find. I mean hell you've already read it haven't you?

Brain, for someone who so desperately tries to pass himself off as smart (the name was a rather pathetic and transparent attempt, don't you think?), you really don't have much to show for your posting history, do you? I'm just curious, but could you point me to any place on TBR where you have ever won an argument? I'm asking because you seem to embarrass yourself with regularity and yet continue to pretend that you're some kind of intellectual force to be reckoned with. And as I noted, where is your link to the contrary? You don't offer one. People such as yourself ask for links without giving any of your own because you're lazy, ignorant, and arguing out the left side of your ass.

    Here's a link for you: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/basketball/draft/2005-06-22-oden-future_x.htm
"Oden has long said that he wants to attend college, but many scouting experts doubted that a player of his stature would pass on the multimillion-dollar contract guaranteed to top draft picks. Over the past year he has emerged as the most talked-about high school player since LeBron James and, some say, the most talked-about center prospect since Lew Alcindor (later Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) in the 1960s.

"It's said and done, so there's nothing you can do about it now," Greg Oden said. "I'm not sad, but I feel bad for whenever the next LeBron comes along and he has to go to college and something happens — either he gets injured or doesn't live up to expectations."

In the eyes of many, Oden could have been the next LeBron, who as the No. 1 pick out of an Ohio high school in 2003, signed a $90 million endorsement contract with Nike and became an immediate NBA star. Oden and James are the only two players to be named National High School Player of the Year as juniors.
    "

I notice also that you were very cowardly in ignoring my point about how high schoolers going in the lottery obviously doesn't mean that they're in Oden's class. Why don't you bother explaining to me how Andrew Bynum is a "sure fire NBA superstar," given that he went in the lottery?

For someone to have been around so long you should know why my name is Brain, but then again its obvious you pay very little attention. You just posted a link that basically said Oden was good. WHERE THE FUCK DOES IT SAY THAT THIS YEAR IS A DOWN YEAR FOR RECRUITS. ARE YOU TOO FUCKING RETARDED TO READ YOUR OWN DAMNED POST?!?! No actually I think the fact is your ignorant on this topic. You said something TOTALLY stupid that you can't back up and now you're try to dodge you way around it. Ignorant ass.
