I've heard of Duke and UNC's classes for this upcoming year, but what are all the other ACC team's classes. I know Costner is going to State and that's all I know.

    Brandon Costner - 6th PF
    Courtney Fells - 9th SG
    Ben McCauley - 23rd PF

    All are Scout rankings

The Mets are going to be tough to beat next year.

Duke is usually pretty amazing when it comes to recruiting, but I was curious to know what team had the most commitments from top ten recruits in one season. I know that rankings vary according to the source, but I just wanted to put UNC's '06 class in historical perspective.

Michigan's Fab 5 is the gold standard. And they backed it up from day one too.

The fab 5 were an amazing class collectively, but how many of them were top ten recruits? Webber certainly, and I imagine Juwan too, but I don't know about Jalen or the other two.

I don't know if "Hoop Scoop" is worth anything, but here is what they have to say on the subject:
"Yes, it looks like North Carolina is one of the teams to beat for four or the top five players who are still available and, if they happen to beat Duke and Kentucky for Wright, they will have three of our top five-ranked seniors in the same recruiting class. And this is unprecedented since we started the HOOP SCOOP in 1983. A quick review of our archives shows North Carolina currently with 6'0 Tywon Lawson from Mouth of Wilson (Oak Hill) VA and 6'4 Wayne Ellington from Merion Station (Episcopal Academy) PA, Michigan State with Zach Randolph and Marcus Taylor in 2000, Kentucky with Keith Bogans and Marvin Stone in 1999, St. John's with Felipe Lopez and Zendon Hamilton in 1994, North Carolina with Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse in 1993, LSU with Randy Livingston and Ronnie Henderson in 1993, Michigan with Chris Webber and Juwon Howard in 1991, North Carolina with Eric Montross and Clifford Rozier in 1990, Kentucky with Eric Manual and LeRon Ellis in 1987, North Carolina with J.R. Reid and Scott Williams in 1986, Michigan with Terry Mills and Rumeal Robinson in 1986, and Kentucky with James Blackmon and Winston Bennett in 1983 all have landed two top five-ranked seniors nationally in the same year. However, nobody has landed three top five players in the same recruiting class up until possibly now. And, if the Tar Heels pull this off, we really would be talking about another Fab Five, plus one or two more players who are ranked among our top 100 seniors nationally, as 6'6 William Graves from Greensboro (Dudley) NC and 6'8 Deon Thompson from Torrance (H.S.) NC check in at #46 and #82, respectively, in our Ranking of the Top Players in the Class of 2006. We also find it interesting that this is the fourth time North Carolina has accomplished this feat in the last 23 years. Kentucky has done it three times, Michigan has done it twice, and Michigan State, St. John's, and LSU have all done it once. "

Then again, considering how Oden is considered a bigger recruit by far than anyone else in that class, Ohio State is still ranked better overall by some outlets.

I believe that Juwan & Jalen were around top 10-15. One of the others was way up there (Jackson maybe?)

Ohio State's group is probably the best #2 class ever. ANy other year they'd be far and away the #1, but UNC barely beats them out. The addition of Wright put UNC over the top. They were already ranked #2 overall beofre adding Wright.
