    And i assure you both banks based in Charlotte will continue to have write-downs. Don't forget about the still proposed merger making BOA the largest mortgage company in the country! Countrywide still has mounting losses and BOA has not yet agreed to take on their debt. Creditors might get the short end of the deal.

    Those Pick a Pay mortgages are gonna crush Wachovia eventually. That Golden West purchase was a BAD idea.
