18 carries for 62 yards. So he did come back.

Piper, he had an eye problem in the bowl game too - took a healthy finger in it.

That's probably why the All Cupcake Conference team whupped the Ducklets...

    Quentin Griffin.

    Ya'll have 5'8", but I saw 5'6".

    I'd grab him.

I wouldn't mind Onterrio Smith. At first glance he's just a scatback but he really does do well inside, keeps his feet moving, and works hard. Want him to be bigger than 205, though.

    My top 10

    1. Larry Johnson - 6'2 222 Penn State: Worth the #9 IMO, big punishing runner, like this offense envisions.

    2. Lee Suggs - 6'0 201 Virginia Tech: Should be a solid Pro, late 1st rounder.

    3. Onterrio Smith - 5'10 204 Oregon: Talked about more last year, but had a respectable season. 2nd rounder

    4. Cecil Sapp - 6'1 225 Colorado State: I like this guy, but runs a little upright at times. Probably a 2nd rounder

    5. Earnest Graham - 5'9 215 Florida: Despite being short, could be a starter in a power offense. Likely 3rd.

    6. Dwone Hicks - 5'11 225 Middle Tennessee St.: Quick and perfect size. Could go anywhere from the late second to the fifth?

    7. Quentin Griffin - 5'7 190 Oklahoma: Runs bigger than he is. Could get overlooked based on size.

    8. Artose Pinner - 5'11 219 Kentucky: Possible sleeper, good combine could propel him into day one.

    9. Marcus Merriweather - 6'1 215 Ball State: Another potential sleeper, nice size, but is relatively unknown.

    10. Avon Cobourne - 5'9 190 West Virginia: See Griffin

Underclassmen who could figure in there:
*LaBrandon Toefield LSU - I think he's staying?
*Musa Smith Georgia - Hasn't declared yet, could be 2nd or 3rd rounder this year...BIG boy!
*Mwelde Moore Tulsa - Staying would be best, could be top RB next year.
*Chris Brown Colorado - Has already said he's staying in school.
*Michael Turner Northern Illinois - I think he already declared?

i'd gladly take griffin in the 3rd.

assuming a qb and wr are the first two picks.

and they have to fit my top requirement -- must be a playmaker.

that's the feeling I get out of O. Smith, playmaker. Suggs as well, and Colbourne to a level. LJ, no. Graham, no. Both solid, and seem to fit, but we're working with a blank piece of paper, and whichever back is here will have to improvise.

One guy I didn't list but am watching with curiousity is Brock Forsey out of Boise State. Looks to be solid in every aspect of the game, but not great at anything in particular. Obviously has a nose for the endzone. Check the numbers:

    Brock Forsey - 6'0 203
    Rushing: 271/1533 5.7 23 TD
    Rec: 33/257 7.8 6 TD

Any thoughts on him? If we don't go RB day one, I'd give him a look in the 5th.

I'd grab Stephen Davis and spend early picks on other positions. With Davis, Hicks, Foster and Brown we would have descent depth there. Maybe get a developmental guy who slips later in the draft. Pinner or Courbourne or Diedrick or Griffin would be targets from 4th-7th on IMO.
