the AVERAGE ACL tear takes about 2 years before full recovery... that's why I don't think he'll be at his former level yet... now don't get me wrong I'm sure he COULD prove me wrong, but I don't think so this time

  2. If Redman is the starting quarterback and yall can't beat the Ravens then yall REALLY suck. Its NOBODY on that team.

    Not true.
Most players have a better second year from recovery because the first offseason is used in intense rehab, the second is generally less intense and therefore gives fresher legs. You'll most often find that the players who rehab hardest come out best but are also simply more fatigued.

In most cases, the actual surgery heals in 6-8 weeks.

Okay so for the two games Redman has seen so far he's gone 25 for 42, for 195 yards, no scores. And he's thrown three regular season passes.

I for one hope we bring the same type blitz we did against Washington on 2nd and 15 - we brought, out of nickel, Cousin, Fields, and Morgan, all without sending a DL back in coverage. I think to be honest we can get by with that better once we deal with their line coverages.

Not that I want that every play, by any means, but we need to drop it in on him a few times.

Ray Lewis is a stud, but I doubt he'll look as much a stud on a team that probably will go below .500 by a couple games. Jamal Lewis has had according to something I read said he's actually hasnt been on the field for 19 months. I suppose thats the last game he played. That being said I would expect Jamal to have a good year. he had some injury problems at Tennessee so he knows how to block out the mental part, and that is as they say the biggest part of the injury.

Hate to bump but don't feel like a new one right now.
I do think that Lewis will still look like a stud. The 3-4 can make a linebacker look good without necessarily making the team more productive or potent.

New starters Gary Baxter (ham) and Anthony Weaver (high ankle) are both still a little gimpy and might not play this week. Neither are experienced and neither have depth behind them of note. Michael McCrary probably will play this week and should be out there for the opener.
