Oh man. The cap is a cruel mistress. They are going to lose 6 defensive starters. Adams (release), Goose (retired), Burnett (release), Woodson (release), Sharper (expansion), and Starks (Free Agency). Add to that, Gash is going to be released, and they will lose 3 of their top 4 recievers (Jermaine Lewis, Ismial, and Sharpe).

At least they were able to buy a super bowl with their money. I bet Trent Dilfer and a few million dollars in cap space would look good right about now.

Let's not forget they lost DelRio and Lewis also. It will be an interesting year for Balt.

yeah, grbac is the least of their worries right now. what a personality switch that team is going to undergo in the next year.

starks is definately getting out of dodge. hope he comes here and brings a winning mentality.

we've got to understand that, just as swiftly as the patriots, giants and rams can reach the superbowl -- those franchises can fall back to 8-8.

    Or 4-12, like the Falcons.

Speaking of turn-arounds, we might fare well in the New NFC South - the Saints are struggling, and Tampa might begin that salary cap rebuild.

Who knows. I know i'll be pissed if we restructured Giblet and didn't cut his pay.

As one of the few people who likes Trent, thought he should've started over Banks in Balt all along, AND thought he got screwed by the Ravens and Bucs....

I'm overjoyed that things are not going well for the Ravens now. I was fucking tired of hearing about them. It also helps that I'm a Steeler fan. :D

Yeah, they will struggle if badly if Jamal Lewis does not return to form.

They are going to try and emulate Pittsburg with the 3-4 next year. Lewis surveying the middle, Boulware as a rush linebacker. And they still have McAllister. A base to build upon defensively. But they won’t have those immovable objects up front anymore.

You hit the nail on the head with the "immovable objects" line. Those dudes are outta here. I wonder how much Ray will look like Superman without those 3 fat bastards infront of him taking up all that room.

Looks like some cuts may come on offense also. They are talking about letting go Quadry Ishmail and Sam Gash.

Yeah I like the steelers as well as the panthers. Ray will still be good but how good remains to be seen. He will probably show up at a night club during this years superbowl and be found guilty this time around!;)
