Rash on my forearms

I've been keeping score for our local Parks & Rec softball leagues. The scorekeepers "desk" is made of wook and therefore the underside of my forearms touch the wood and have broken out severely. The one arm that rests on the wood more than the other is bright red and itches A LOT! I'm trying some cortizone cream, but it hasn't worked so far. Whoever heard of being allergic to wood? Ok maybe I need to go see the doctor.....

Nah, I dunno sounds weird to me. Maybe a contact dermatitis from the heat/friction- Lay a towel under your arms.

 

That's what I've pretty much come to the conclusion that it is. I got some hydrocortisone cream and it's really taken the itch and redness away.

 

If the HC cream didn't work, I'd say get some calamine lotion.

 

HC has done wonders. I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier!!
