Inspired by badass McNair and flashes from a healthy McNabb I’m curious to see how you guys would rank the top active QB’s based on MOBILITY alone. I would assume that Vick would be the consensus #1 mobile QB. Where do the Mc’s, and guys like Garcia Culpepper Brooks Pennington Carr Plummer and Stewart fall in line.
I would also like to know where you would guess the top 4 or 5 2003 rookie QBs might eventually rank within that group also. Kids like Palmer, Leftwich (if healthy and in better condition), Boller, and Ragone.

Watching stud McNair makes me feel like a mobile QB in a Panther uniform for 2003 is mandatory.

    1) McNabb

    3) Vick
    4) Garcia
    5) Culpepper
    6) Brooks
    7-T) Stewart
    7-T) Plummer

**Don't consider Carr, Pennington members of that group... they're balanced passers that spend more time in pocket than out

Gannon looks pretty good to me. My man Dmac looked VERY bad today. Were the Eagles better with Feeley at the controls?

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
I'll rate by athleticism and running instinct, I won't judge decision making

    Vick
    McNabb
    Stewart
    McNair
    Brooks
    Garcia
    Culpeper
    Plummer
    Gannon
    Favre

    Of the class of 2003
    Wallace
    Banks
    Boller
    Palmer
past that, not much of mention, and that's assuming Wallace and Banks as passers

I have never been too impressed with McNair but I will give him his due he played well this year. I still think the Titans would be better if they had a vertical element to their passing game.

Vick is far and away the best runner. McNabb is next. Culpepper, McNair and Stewart are all about equal.

I would not mind having a mobile QB as long as he can play from the pocket if needed. I would not want an offense where you throw a lot of short passes and let the QB run a lot. Lots of mobile guys have been great pocket passers too like Elway and Young. That is who we need is a guy like that. Kordell Stewart will not do that for us.

Farve has no business being mentioned.

Other than that, I would put Culpepper behind Mcnabb and call it a day.

You might want to mention Brunell with Plummer and David Carr has numbers close to Brooks.

I might even put Culpepper at #2. He scores tds at will.

The only guy on that list that consistently plays at a high level is McNabb. The rest are erratic, even McNair.
