I can't believe the Rams would trade him. How quickly an MVP is forgotten. I'd take him, but there is no guarantee he would put up Ram type numbers in our system. Actually, there is no freaking way he could.

Warner reminds me of Montana. They are or were good but, given the talent around them is what made them good. Put them in another city with average players surrounding them and they would be mentioned with the likes of Todd marinovich/ Chris weinke!!!!:D

You have to surround yourself with TA L E N T

Don't compare nobody to Joe cool. Best there was, best there ever will be. He didn't have those players in 81, or with the Cheifs.

I get his point. But the difference is Joe made players around him great. Those guys with Kurt already were. But still how could you not want an all around great guy like Warner? I would take him in a heartbeat. But all I'm saying is don't expect Ram numbers cause we don't have the supporting cast. But damn, wouldn't it be better than what we got?:(

not necessarily. warner might and can even work against the panthers. sometimes chemistry is important. also will warner fit in the panther's program? i dont know how your team is. he is one guy. this is a team sport. qb demands leadership!

plus his thumb. man, last season he was out for a bit bec of that thumb. bulger was qb-ing bec warner's thumb was hurt. rams are trading him bec i suspect they are trying to cut their loss. buyer beware on warner, i think.

ok, how bout this: superbowl xxxvi. remember that rams fiasco? oy!

i'd take cheap kyle boller, qb, california instead.
    ;)
