Other way around. Warner is good, but if Martz wasn't trying to pad his ego, he'd have given the ball to Marshall and the Pats would not have been able to do a thing about it.

and that's where poor drafting will kill them. Just like us with age, 97-98 sucked because age gave way to youth and youth wasn't there.

Who do you let go? Roaf? Marshall? Bruce? Holt? Williams?

That's where the money is on this team.

I'd restructure Marshall and his $7 mil salary, same for Warner, probably try to deal Trung for something (only problem is, what? Faulk is generally durable enough, and having Gordon shouldn't hurt after a year's experience, but you'll never get a first round pick back for him, which underlies the poor value of the pick). But cuts? They don't even have that many under contract. Bruce and Holt aren't deserving of a cut, nor is Timmerman. Pace is a FA after the 2002 season.

Bet ya Martz moves on or gets fired before FOX... Martz is a putz... he is riding a wave... If Kurt does not prove to the defenses that he can basically hit a dime from 50 yards out, things don't open up for Faulk...

Faulk is great, perhaps the greatest RB currently in the NFL, but if I'm not mistaken, #34 was the greatest several seasons when his team was not...

I think the run is over for the Rams. Warner IMO was never really that great. He's had his run and it's basically over. They'll never be as good as they were. Faulk, Holt, & Bruce can still keep them in a winning way, but they need to start looking for another QB, his injuries are starting to catch up and their defense just didn't arrive.

Ahhh, the Jaguar philosiphy for debt removal, just pull out that Visa card.

    I'd like to see that.

Sandy, Warner's been taken out of games. He's an accurate, strong armed passer, but defenses have stopped him. The Giants did, Pats did, Eagles did. You can take out a QB if you can disrupt his and his recievers rhythem. His play is dependent upon them to a degree.

No one has stopped Marshall but Martz. Sure, a defense guarding against the pass first will be more open to the run. That's why you run, particuarly when your recievers are being jammed and your all pro QB is being creamed.

Warner is a leader... period. Like I said, #34 had great seasons and his team sucked or was "ok"...

Martz will bring this team down... IMO.

You do bring up a good point, Y2. The weapons they have did make Trent Green look like a 30 million dollar QB, and he isn't.

Warner is much better than Green, but Warner was in say Kansas City, I don't see them as more than winning two or three more games.
