Pete Rose was a great ballplayer and got the most out of what he had talent-wise.
Personnally I thought he sucked as a manager but most great ones suck when at the helm.
I hope he does get into the hall someday but it will be hard to swallow if he bet against the team that he was managing.

I agree with, it will be tough. But at the same time isnt it tough that these guys are cheating by using roids if they go to the hall. The roid Palmeiro used is a very common one. It is used to remain stable. It allows rebuilding at a rapid rate. Something you would use at that age. But i gaurantee that you could test 300 pitchers and 150-200 if not more are on it or have been on it. It helps them rebuild easy for the next start. The problem is, owners arent going to say anything. Steroids boost money sales. More homeruns, more fans, more money. Whats to lose for the manager by telling a player not to be on them, nothing. The players should realize that in 10-15 years after baseball they want be able to live a normal life.
