4 years for a 2nd day pick is a strong contract for him. Interesting.

A lot of teams are choosing to buy out that RFA year.

I loathe RFA in every form, so I'm certainly not against it.

Glen Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Carolina Panthers have signed fourth-round draft choice WR Ryne Robinson to a four-year contract. The deal is worth $2.103 million and includes a signing bonus of $438,305. He will earn base salaries of $285,000 (2007), $370,000 (2008), $460,000 (2009) and $550,000 (2010). An escalator is included where Robinson can increase his 2010 salary if he reaches certain playing time and performance thresholds.

    Good.

Now don't fumble the ball or throw it backwards.

Let's just hope the blocking improves for the return teams, first of all. I'm not doubting Robinson's abilities, but Steve Smith would have had a tough time putting up consistantly good return yardage last year. They've brought in alot of young guys who should be motivated to succeed on ST's just so they can make the team, so hopefully that will help.

Well, not Smitty, but say goodbye to somebody once he's official.

They're at limit, so for every guy they sign now, somebody's got to go.
