the bible...sure the son, father and holy spirit are mentioned, but no where is it ever referenced as the holy trinity or said to be god in the same, but three seperate, forms.

furthermore, if the unity of father, son, and holy spirit are treated as separate entities under the same godhead, doesn't that contradict the entire "thou shalt not have any other gods before me" thing?

 

A day is one rotation of the earth on it's axis. God created the universe in 6 days. Before God created the earth, how did God know what a day was?

 

1. Why do most "Christians" ignore the fact that most Christian Holidays are based on old Pagan rituals?

2. Why do people try to save or convert others? If "God is all knowing then he knows who will be saved and who wont and if it is because of free will you choose to be saved or not then "God" can not be all knowing because if he already knew then it would not be free will that decided the answer.

3. Why is it a sin to kill yourself? When it is your time to die it is your time to die. If it is by your own hand or by a bus running you over it makes no difference you will be dead. Unless it is not your time to go.

4. If "Gods Word" was written today would it still be written the same way it was originally or would it be influenced by the happenings around us in this day and age?

5. To go along with #4 Is this why there are so many different translations and versions of "Gods Word" around?

 

How can a compassionate god let a hockey team get the shit kicked out of them in a game 7 that would be the last game ever played in that arena? I guess there is a reason for everything, but right now I just don't see it.

 

That question is why I disagree with the "young earth" theorists who believe that the earth is only 6,000 years old.

The problems are not 3 gods or one god, but it is the manifestation of God in the spiritual or physical realm. Just as we say man has a body, spirit and soul, but is still the same man.
