    I'm no expert but I though Obi's power was then manifested in Luke making his "force" stronger.

    Your worrying about the 'no body' thing too much. The same thing happened to Yoda when he died and he didn't have anyone swinging a light saber at him.

    I dont think it works that way. If so Luke should have kicked Vaders butt in Empire.

    Maybe the lightsaber did not kill Obiwan. Maybe he died of old age just before Vader's blow would have landed?

    They need to do a special edition and re-film that fight and let Evan Mcgregor wear old man make up and get killed by Vader properly. :)

    acording to lucas, ob1 was killed in ep4 for dramatic effect. he felt like having them get away without losing anything made the death star seem a little too ineffective.

    Other question: by episode 3, it seems like the only thing anyone used the Force for was moving shit around. What happened to the cool mind-control stuff?

    A question I've had is during episodes 4-6 they could sense other Jedi. For example Luke saying he was endangering the mission to Endor because Vader could sense him, and when Vader said he sensed Obi-Wan in the Death Star, but they never really displayed this ability in any of episodes 1-3
