question for yankees fans

    yes, yes it does. lets say you have better range than i do at the position. in a season, how many of these balls that are just out of my diving reach are you gonna get to and make the play? i don't get a "chance" on the play. you do. make a bad throw, you get an E. 1 chance, 1 error on a ball that wouldn't have affected my % because i couldn't even get to it.

    this is my point. a diving and missing a-rod can be a stand-up play for a furcal, or someone with better range. this has been my point all along.

    for the record, i would say close to half of furcals errors last season were on balls that few others in the league coulda sniffed.
