    Although I think the fan just caught Roy at a bad time, Roy does have that history Sly mentioned. The whole "I don't give a damn about Carolina" thing comes to mind.

    The fan didn't deserve to be slammed. That is horseshit. Almost as much as you defending Roy. This game isn't only about Roy or his players. Without fans, sports wouldn't exist period. Fans and lifelong supporters of the Heels have more invested in the team than Roy at this point.

    No its not just about Roy and his players, but that fan didn't respect the work Ray and his players do enough to let them do their jobs. He has no right to EXPECT anything more than their best effort, and if their best effort is a loss so be it. For him to say something like "Don't let us down" only shows that he expects nothing less than an NCAA championship and fans that fickle are nothing more than fair weather fans anyways. So frankly I have no problem with Roy's comment and I'm DAMNED sure you'd defend K had he made the same statement in the same situation. So don't play like Roy doesn't care about the UNC fans. This is just you grasping at straws. Same thing as the Rashad McCant comments early in the year. Seems the prison warden has done a pretty damn good job with him this year doesn't it?

    Furthermore K has said plenty of stupid stuff in his day. If you'd like the next time one comes along I'll post if and watch as you try to defend it as always and totally ignore the fact that this thread ever existed. I somewhat expect you you to defend your team/coach, but on this one you're seriously grasping.
