You're slipping, grid. No one makes their own peanut butter.

Larry was always talking about boiling peanuts. I assumed it was for the purpose of making peanut butter.

Speaking of peanut butter, dollface has a no-legged cocker spaniel with a two-foot tongue. :agreed:

you forgot the wooden spoon. its gotta be wooden. but you nailed the rest.

also (for grid) - Dixie Crystals sugar is 'specially formulated just for the solepurposes (one word) of making a perfect sweet tea. if you use the regular Food Lion sugar you'll have brown floaties in your tea. some call them solids, i call them floaties. floaties.

Wasting your time talking to grid - another lazy ass yankee. Let him drink all the crystal light and nestea shit he wants.

It's not like it takes a lot of brains or effort to brew a pitcher of tea.

But obviously it takes more brains than grid has at his disposal.:agreed: :twocents:

i thought this thread was about sweet tea. if you people offered me your glass i would probably assume you lost count when putting the sugar in. no self-respecting southerner uses less than 1 and a half cups of sugar.

bring small pot of water to boil, remove from burner
steep 5 reg size bags for 15 mins
    1 and 1/2 cups sugar
mix and fill gallon container just shy of full
    add ice and stir

there you go. THAT is proper sweet tea. remind me never to drink ya'lls unsweetened crap.
