No question that Livingston is the better player but will he go pro? You just know he won't stay more than 1 year at most. Anyway, getting Paulus allowed Coach K to wait on Livingston and it looks like it will pay off.

    A class with:

    PG - Quentin Thomas
    SG - JamesOn Curry
    SF - JR Smith
    PF - Marvin Williams

    doesn't suck.

This makes me happy for sure. SL may be a touch better, but I think most drool over him because of his height. But I am a lot happier with a 3 or 4 year player that is great vs. the one year or no show at all that we would hope can pull off a Mello.

Its funny, and I'm not trying to be a dickhead here, but everyone seems to agree Marvin is the much better pro prospect than SL in the short term. Its just funny that you all are more ready to believe SL will go pro and not Marvin. Guess its the nature of the beast and you are more willing to believe whatever helps your team out more.

Well mine is based mostly on recruiting reports, but you never know what a kid may do. There are too many factors to know for sure if a kid stays or goes pro. If a kid doesn't go pro straight from HS, then he could not play as well as the scouts think he should have in college. Or he could get hurt. Or just change his mind with all of the influences of his friends, family, agents and then what he wants.

P.S. - with the way things are now, I don't see Marvin staying more than 2 years.

Oh, I think Howard, Livingston AND Marvin Williams are all very viable candidates to come out early. Be that before the season or after next season. I agree there.

From what I've heard, I think we'll see Howard as the one that goes. The others play a year IMO.

I 'KINDA' like this scenario... don't get me wrong I wanted Livingston, but now we have a viable 4 year guy. Best case scenario is he has 1 year to learn under Felton, but all in all I like the recruiting class Roy has put together... and while I doubt it there is a very very very small chance at landing Dwight Howard for a year. He'll be at Midnight Madness at UNC. He's probably just getting his free visit in and I can't say I blame him, but hopefully he'll CONSIDER. That type of recruiting class is potential "Fab 5" material

    So far:
    PG - Thomas
    SG - Curry
    SF - Smith
    PF - Williams
(Just add Howard here and its stacked)

Don't see how that could happen. If Felton doesn't go pro then you don't even have a scholarship for the guy.
