I have done girls there. I don't crave it. I would do it if asked, but I think its unrealistic. fact: you know porn stars have enimas before a scene. I ain't crazy about the hygeine of it all. Plus I know that when I go to the doctor is hurts like hell to get "examined."

    Well stated, Turbo. :applause:

Don't know how representative "reality TV" is of worldly living, but moving on...

Few would disagree that the Christian life is very different than 'normal' life. Christians are challenged to have very different priorities, mannerisms, and behaviors than the rest of the world. It is regrettable that most of us fail miserably (including myself from time to time), but that does not change the standard we are called to live by. It's good the preacher illustrated the contrast between the two lifestyles, but what happens too often is that paticular message is not followed up with a caution against being judgmental. The average church attender likely draws his own conclusion that if the two lifestyles are different, and ours is supposedly the right one, then the other must be the 'bad' one. And 'bad' often equates to 'evil' within the context of church. It's an easy jump to make in the absence of proper guidance by church leaders.

That preacher should've followed that illustration with the verse that warns against blasting other people for their flaws when you've got flaws of your own. In fact, the verse even says believers have bigger flaws and faults than a lot of "lost" people do, so we should keep our collective trap shut in that regard. It's about humility. Any righteousness a believer has comes from the grace of God, not from our own feeble attempts at living a goody two shoes life. We do not deserve it, nor can we earn it, so who are we to point fingers?

Here's another thing that ticks me off about those kinds of messages. They act like those influences are performing home invasion robberies. Not one of those influences makes it into the living room ultimately without the permission of the people who live in it. Period. Parents are responsible for what they allow into their minds, and to a point, into the minds of their children. There is where the responsibility lies, not with the networks. Oh, sure, they do bear some but that's God's call, not ours. You don't like what's on TV? Change the channel or turn it off. If the ratings go down, the broadcasters will change the format to something that will attract more viewers.

But I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Our society as a whole is not going to bend to Christian morals. That time has passed. It's going to get progressively worse, not better, so get used to it, and find a way to deal with it peacefully.
