    Has anyone seen the show about the 5 gay guys redecorating the straight guy's house (or is this the same show?)?

    same show, but they don't just redecorate. they transform from drab to fab. they each have "specialty" areas -- fashion, food & wine, interior design, grooming and culture.

    It's the attraction to men part that I don't relate to. Why not do a girl there? It's so primal, submissive and a raw sorta thing.

    Larry, I've looked through Romans 7-9 and I can't really find anything that would apply to the point that "society is putting homesexuals and their lifestyles into our living rooms."

    As a quick summary, Romans 7 is about how keeping God's law will not save us. It does mention that God's law is good for one thing (pointing out sin to us) but it doesn't save us.

    Romans 8 moves on to say that we need the indwelling of the holy spirit. Paul contrasts the life of a person with the holy spirit as opposed to the legalist who lives his life simply trying to not break God's law.

    Romans 9 talks about how Israel rejected God (in Jesus) and how this rejection caused them to cease being "God's Holy People" on earth. In another book, Paul says that "God's Holy People" today are Christians - no matter whether they have Jewish blood or not.

    You know, I find it interesting that this same Paul writes about liberty and freedom in Romans 14. Basically, he says that we shouldn't judge anyone else nor should we live our lives based on someone else's opinion. We should do what we think is right regardless of anyone else's opinion.

    Although we should be mindful not to lead anyone astray (on purpose), we should guard our freedom (and anyone else's).

    he took it a couple of steps furhter, saying there is a spiritual existence (living for god) and a "worldy" existence (liking reality-based tv shows). in drawing the contrast between the two, he said that there's even a show out now where they have homosexuals trying to change straight men. the implication being, satan is putting homosexuals right in your living room -- and that's anything but living a spiritual existence.

    or some such.
