Bad ass Bond. Great opening car chase

 

I was in Italy while this was being filmed and heard something about a crew member/stunt man being killed or seriously injured during the filming of the car chase. I had forgot about it until recently, but was this true? Does anyone know?

Saw it yesterday. They don't skimp on the action or pyrotechnics but it lacked cleavage.

 

Action packed, but I think Bond is losing his touch. He nails some office worker chick but never lays the 007 timber to the main girl. WTF? She was much hotter. Also, I only had to call bullshit in a couple of places, so it is much better than many other Bond movies.

They have a lot of subtle references to older movies too, like one of the characters was the villain in Moonraker (if I remember correctly) and they kill one of the girls by covering her in oil much the same way they killed the girl in Goldfinger by painting her gold.

 

Both correct, I was totally disappointed in the lack of skin, the Bond chick shows tons of it in the Maxim magazine just out, why not the movie?? The action was great.

Plus he needs more of the old corny one liners Like Connery and Moore had. This guy is way too stoic.

 

I think Craig is trying to be more like Fleming's bond than the other theatrical bonds. That Bond was a humorless fuck who barely survived every mission and usually ended in the hospital, and trained by smoking and drinking too much.

Beats the shit of out Brosnon's drek, though. The bullshit started with the first frame with his films.
