Went out today to the 1st Pro-Am. There weren't a ton of guys I was interested in seeing (most of the good matchups are on Wed) but it's always a fun time at Quail Hollow. Got some pics of Dell (he said the Bobcats would win tonight, he lied :() and Steph. Got an autograph from Padraig.

No one tells Dell Curry he can't bring his blackberry.

Overheard Michael telling someone that he was racing pretty well yesterday "till that dumbass wrecked me."

Took Steph a couple of tries to get out of the sand at 18.

That place should host a PGA or an Open. That's too good of a golf course.

I was taking in some of the trees, just the planning alone that went into the trees was impressive. The different textures and shades of green just made a beautiful backdrop to the already immaculate course. This is my third year out there and I'm still impressed every time.

Had a great time today following Phil around until around the 5th hole when he ducked out with an upset stomach. Course is in great shape and the greens are brutally slick. WTF is up with a golf tournament in Charlotte selling nasty ass Dunkin Doughnuts?

Saw Coach Brown on the 18 when MJ finished, nice of him to show some support. Wish I could have gotten a better shot.

Also saw Coach Fox walking around this afternoon enjoying the crowd after his morning round. Awesome day.

I think I'll get the three day pass again next year and one day set up and watch players go by, and another set up and try to get a few autographs around the putting green

Client of mine just hooked me up with 4 tix for Saturday. They include preferred parking, booze, all access, and food. Said they're worth $1500 a piece.

Not a golf fan, but I think I'll use these.

Looking like Tiger's not going to make the cut.

Wonder if the media will still cover the tournament if Woods isn't playing the last two days?

We were out on 15 and saw Tiger 3-putt from about three feet out. It was pretty shocking, he had already pretty much given up at that point but it was still odd seeing him miss the second come-back.

It's his sixth missed cut on tour, absolutely amazing considering a lot of golfers miss about half the cuts. It's his first missed cut in a non-major since 2005. Glad we went out today.

Saw Dell and Steph again too as we were leaving. I told Steph he got robbed in the ROY vote but that second was pretty good too. He agreed with a smile, really nice guy.
