So when you get there please stand up, I mean really what has UNCC ever done? How many years have they been playing basketball now? Let's please use that we haven't been around as long as you excuse.

 

What span would you like to compare? 1 year? two years? (Admitedly the Heels wouldn't look to good over that span) 5 years? 10 years?

My point is that you are talking a lot of shit for someone who pulls for a team that can't even keep it's coach from leaving to take a job at the Hoops hotbed of Texas A&M (I think that's where he went anyway- I honestly can't remember), whose team has made 1 Final Four, and considers the fact that going to the NCAA tourney 7 times in 11 years is something to brag about.

 

Yep seems like we are 9 for 11 in that same span and won a championship. Last time I checked we won 6 more games last year than them.

UNCfever, tell me you are at least a graduate so I can respect you, and you aren't one of those guys I see at Wal Mart buying those baby blue old school sweats that say "UNC" on the thigh, with a scary ram.

 

Lived there for 6 year's and was on the Campus for all 6 of them. Actually I went to USC-L since UNC didn't offer what I majored in.

So I take it that you went to UNCC and are pissed that they suck and you feel like you have to pull for them?

I guess it's ok for the fortywhiners to come over to the hoops board and bash UNC, but you start crying foul when we come over here.

But I guess when it comes down to actual comparison I would try and change the subject as well.

 

He has a degree from both schools I do believe. Hopefully he is a Charlotte fan as well as a Carolina fan.

program for program, of course UNC is better. Your domination has been over for awhile now though, and the last two times you played the Niners with Vince and Jamison, it went overtime. Go to the other forum and read the "12 ACC team" thread where I broke down the last 5 years of RPI, as of late, you aren't that as superior as your think. I respect the UNC program, I just get sick of rednecks from Gastonia hanging on to it that had ZERO to do with the school. Of course our RPI is down over the past 5 years - cause we sucked 2 years ago and had a major injury that we didn't have the depth to overcome last year (not an excuse - simply a fact). And since you are mentioning that thread - why don't you mention my response to it. The last 2 years drag down our RPI average, and I bet that UNCC can't come up with a better 5 year span than that. And since that is our worst span, what does that tell you.

And as for stupid ass, so called fans - you have NO idea how much they piss me off. And no, I am not off the band wagon, but I can tell you I didn't watch a lot of basketball 2 years ago .
