He was certainly humble after last nights victory. And it is a good point he made, it’s easy to look good when you have receivers that get open quickly. Still, he’s been coached right, he goes through his progressions quickly, he reads, he has vision. He gets rid of the ball quicly and accurately. He has enough arm.

He isn’t 107 QB rating good likely, not with our offense. But he’s young and good, and an perform as a starter, obviously.

I’d give up our second rounder. Depending on draft position, I might trade down for him. That'd be better.

  2. why would the rams trade him? with warner's injury history of late, that'd be foolish.

I wonder how warner's contract is structured...they are probably married to him for better or worse

I don’t think Warner is tradeable or even cuttable in February. He signed a pretty big bonus.

Bulger is a RFA. That means to protect him, they have to offer Bulger first round tender, which is doable. But the next year he would be UFA. The idea of a trade would be to get compensation for him instead of losing him. The Rams are in cap trouble next year, before Faulk’s extension they were projected to be 16 million over or something like that. So they are going to have to get their cap in line, and you know what that means. Somebody with high salary toward the end of their contract is gone (Bruce). Probably more.

They are going to have to do something to replace guys with, Pace is a UFA, that offense can’t run without a good Left Tackle. So they need some picks.

Wouldn’t it be nice to get Bulger and his favorite target due to the Rams cap troubles

IMO I'd be surprised as hell to see him go since Warner looked that bad when he came in.

True. That scenerio is completely based on Warner returning to form quickly.

I think Martz has to go with Warner , but I think he’ll have a quick hook. It makes any trades and the cap or anything else a lot simpler if Warner returns to form.

Something was physically wrong with Warner before he hurt his finger at Dallas. The real question to me is has THAT healed.

He looked really good last night. It was the first time Id been able to watch him.

Why the fuck can't we pull a stud qb out of our asses? Goddam.

The Football Gods have given the Rams the ability to turn grocery boys into star QBs. Their curse is that every once in a while, they will hurt a pinky. No worries, they just have to stop by their local Bi-Low and pick up another.

It may be time to look at their QB coach and bring him over in place of Henning.
