What a dumbass. He'll never sniff post season again. That and I am sure that there is minimal Latinos in Detroit. Something he said would influence his decision

I'm pretty sure they signed Fernando Vina to play second. On the Tigers, he's the second best player.

I can't wait for the feel good stories when the Tigers are on pace to win 73 in late April.

if ever I have seen it...this deal is for ONLY money. He doesn't care that much about the game going to Detriot. Honestly I can't blame him, I blame Bud. Something has to be done to basketball and baseball to bring the money out and put the love for the game back in. This is getting stupid. Ive only been watching baseball for 14 years, and I see this. For you older generations, this must make you sick.

On a another note, now the Dodgers have been sold, we might go out and get some talent.

The Marlins weren't expected to do shit last year either. And it's probably a good thing for baseball that he went to some scrub team since the lower market teams always bitch about not getting talent.

Better than No players. Plus they have a young pitching staff with some potential and having Pudge behind the plate will do them some good.

Detroit a lower market team? PLUHZZZZ!!!!!! They've got one of the richest owners in sports (LITTLE CAESAR's PIZZA Czar Mike Illitch) and a still new ballpark (COMERICA PARK). Too bad he cares more about the NHL Red Wings more than his baseball team :( :( . . . .

I guess since Pudge got his ring now, he's more concerned about getting paid silly money until he reitres in 5-10 years. But I'm sure he's going to be complaining a la A-Rod about being on a losing team in 2-3 years and will demand a trade   . . .
