No its because HE doesn't have one that its inferior. Haven't you ever noticed any thing he doesn't have his alternative is already better. Its not as good because... why? Okay graphics are apparently bad. A faster processor is apparently bad... more games than the DS... that's bad... but I still go back to how in the hell does he know if he doesn't have one. He brings up the reason that he used since it has video, picture and mp3 capabilities that its not as good as the DS. Yet the DS has a built in picture viewer as well. But then again I see no reason why any of these capabilities would take away anything from their respective gaming capabilities, but apparently he'd know better even though he doesnt have one. By his definition the games aren't as good, but gamespot has 5 PSP games ranked higher than the Nintendo DS's best. I'm sure in that regard he'd simply reply with well its based on personal gaming preference, while I'd agree on that count I go back to my, how would he know because he doesn't have one. It comes down to this, he gt into a PSP discussion and badmouthed it without ANY knowledge on what it does and how it plays in comparison to the DS. I'm guessing he did one of a few things (a) went out to get a PSP but couldn't because they were sold out and bought a DS in its place and now defends it... its obviously inferior to the DS because he couldn't get one (b) just couldn't afford a PSP, which there is no shame in, but then again that doesn't give him any reason or grounds to come into a PSP discussion and say its an inferior product... maybe he's just simply jealous?

Heh, I cant afford it. Thats fuckin hilarious since I probably make more money than you do. And as far as not being able to get one, I've yet to find any major retailer that doenst still have them in stock (I know the Best Buy in Pineville didnt even sell out of them on PSP day).

At this point in time the PSP is not worth owning. Hell over 20% of them are defective and there just arent any good games yet.

Talk all you want about "the PSP having a faster processor" because I never said it didnt. The X-box has the same advantages over the PS2, but the PS2 is still the better system.

And just because I dont own one doesnt mean I havent played with one. Two of my friends have one and I've used them for a few hours to play the new Twisted Metal (which did kick ass, but aint worth $300).

PSP sales hit 500,000 mark in US
Sony has said it sold 500,000 PSP handheld consoles in the first two days on sale in the United States, half of the allocation to the country.

Some analysts said the device was not selling as fast as some large chains had expected, reported Reuters.

Sony said the PSP generated a total of $150m (£80m) in first-week sales at North American retailers, but did not give second-week figures.

The PSP is a games console which can also play movies and music.

The console came out late last year in Japan and has sold more than one million units in the country to date.

Sony postponed the European launch of the PSP indefinitely so that it could ensure an adequate supply for the US launch, which it promised would be about one million units. Analysts expect sales of handheld games to drive growth of the video game industry in 2005.
