    Who's getting one? Since I started traveling all the time I thought these would be great. I hope they get more movies in the UMD format.

    i'll keep my eye one it, but no way will I get one at launch. Too risky to me knowing sony's past and the psp's are gonna be bundled with crap to make up production costs.

    True. I kinda hate that but the stuff is at least usable. The games may be crap but I've bought enough crap games in my lifetime that it really doesn't bother me.

    They come out Thursday. I'll give a little review then (If I can find one)

    It uses a new proprietary disk called a UDP which some movies are coming out on. The battery will last about 3.5 hours which is perfect for plane rides. I've never had a laptop last over 1.5 while watching a movie. Plus the games are supposed to be kick ass.

    people are comparing the battery life to a Nintendo DS of Game boy Advance, which is misguided in my opinion, since the PSP uses a disk instead of a cartridge. The trade off for better graphics and media playback is of course battery life.

    no way will the DS ever get games looking this good.
