    I have both now, my thoughts exactly Brain. PS3 definately superior hardware, whisper quiet, gorgeous movies on the Blu Ray. More games on the 360, and xbox live is well worth the 50 bucks (except here lately, it caught a nice case of the suck, especially on COD4).

    Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 might give the PS3 an edge over xbox this year. Killzone 2 especially will be ridiculously, utterly sick.

    Maybe PS3 will finally start to get some games worth playing, but Gears of War and Mass Effect are better games than anything I ever played on PS2.

    yeha i want mass effect...there are always rumors of it coming to pc but doubtful it'll be on ps3

    EA bought bioware and pandemic for something like 800 million. They'll publish future mass effect games now, which is supposed to be a trilogy. I'd say the last EA game that wasn't multiplatform was probably back in the dreamcast days. Ps3 might not get the first one, or maybe a new version of it, but odds are, EA will put the next ones on the ps3 as well. It's how they operate.

    The great Ruiner that is EA.

    Mistwalker has made crappy games so far, but if they can get it together and mesh jrpg and western style, they will be a real coup for Microsoft as well. Curious how Lost Odessey will be. The fact that Microsoft also landed Culdcept saga bodes well for the system in niche gaming.

    If the Japanese ever get into FPS, Sony is gonna be in a world of hurt.
