    Don't try to change the subject on me, young man. We're not talking about the Dodgers (who are just fine, thank you very so much). We're talking about the Braves.

    If you want to talk regular season only, then of course the Braves haven't choked. But we're not talking regular season--we're talking postseason. The World Series isn't decided on the basis of the regular season--it's decided by a 7-game series that the Braves have only managed to win once (and then only because Orel Hershiser had a meltdown at the worst possible time, and took the Tribe with him).

    i'd be bitter too if my team hadn't made the playoffs since 96. especially because i would know that if the braves hadn't been moved to the NL east, then the dodgers wouldn't have made it to the playoffs since 88.

    to sum it up, during the braves stretch, they have won 11 division titles, 5 NL titles, 1 world series title. in that same stretch, the dodgers have went 0-6 in the playoffs. thats 2 appearances in case you can't figure it out.

    the braves not winning championships makes thei accomplishments look less than what they are. They've owned that division forever, and still can't get much farther than that. Much like how the Bills were labeled choke artists because they lost 4 superbowls in a row, still a hell of a job to get there, but no one remembers that.
