    You are wrong about 97...go back and do some research.The wild card Marlins did not play the Yankees in the world series that year.I can see how you got confused because that was one of the few years the Yankees have not represented the AL in the world series recently.I believe if you double check you will see the Marlins beat the Indians that year in 7 games.

    5 NL Pennants
    1 title

    1 title in 5 tries--if that's not choking (especially the nice little sweep at the hands of the Skankees back in 2000 after blazing guns through the NL playoffs), then I don't know what is.

    wossa wossa, can i answer.....0 fer 6, but if they could just make it back to the playoffs, they feel they could go a long ways towards notching that first win.
