    11-5

    Beat the Vicks twice.

Smitty came back to have an All-Pro season.

Jake goes to the pro bowl, throws 24 Touchdowns.

Julius shakes off injuries and a slow start to get a second straight Pro Bowl appearance with 10.5 sacks and 50 tackles.

    Defense ranked top 5.

Whatever happens here on in, its been a good season, for as much as we bitch. A couple of close games go our way, a couple go the other way. Could have been better, a game or two away from a bye. But I'm proud of our team, our coaches and players.

All it would have took is for us to get the right call against Dallas or the Redskins to get the right call against Tampa and we are the division champs. We have had a good season. If we suddenly find a running game we are going be hard to beat in the playoffs.

It seems like we are finally on the right track to being a consistent winner. Playoffs two out of three years is something we have never seen.

Fox, whereever he has been as a coach, never worse than 7-9.

It's nice to have a good team. Good, tough, workman like players.

Few penalties. No big discipline problems. Hit hard, play hard. Get the most of what you have.

Much better than some of our undiciplined squads.

A good solid successful season, yes. We worked hard, made some games scary when they shouldnt have been, blew some opportunities, but the big picture is getting into the playoffs for now. WE did that. We swept Atlanta, and quite frankly, that alone makes this season a good one.

We were tough in the NFCS. THat first Saints game sucked, but other than that, weve punched the NFCS in the face, and the Bucs are lucky we let the title slip away from our hands. So be it. Its time to beat the Giants, and move on from there.

This is a good day. Hell with Atlanta, and hell with the rest of the NFC, and hell with all the AFC.
