    unbelievable. Monkfish is simiar consistency to lobster, kinda small fish. The Prosciutto works better than bacon.

    Back in the day when I waited tables at Barley & Rye, we served monkfish (and about 15-20 others daily). It's some of the nastiest looking fish you'd ever want to see before it's cooked, but after it's done...mmmmm! Good stuff, and yes, it's similar to lobster. I'm gonna hafta go give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation!

    that's an ugly ass good tasting fish. Glad I don't have to catch that. 'course, if I did, it wouldn't be $17 either.

    So I went to Bonefish last night, and monkfish wasn't a special. Reckon I'll have to go back again real soon. I ended up getting the King Cedar Salmon. It whipped ass, even came on a slab of Cedar.
