Wow. The D never quit- cousin, minter, grant, and howard all did there job in the secondary. excellent tackling and great coverage. The front 4- what can i say?? pep had 2 sacks, forced fumble, jenkins had 2 sacks. consistent pressure by rucker, buckner and burton. Morgan needs to get healthy- hopefully the bye will help out with it. mark fields was a beast- 13 tackles, a sack. i think navies play lacked somewhat- the left side of the d saw a lot of passes in the flat and swing passes- navies was no where to be found. overall though- we brought A DAMN GOOD DEFENSE OUT THERE TODAY. kudos to them. they played their hearts out. i feel sorry for them. :(

  2. can any one belive that pepers have 9sacks and we only have played 8games i thinks we are going to hear is for the 15years or so by far this has been other then Morgan this has been the beast 1Rd pick in the draft

Some of the hits today were just amazing especially the Minter hit on that Barlow dude. Just amazing. Sucks that they have to be called upon game after game to close out games for us.

yeah dukey- peppers has AMAZED me with his consistency. this guy is a beast- a playmaker. 4 forced fumbles. 9 sacks. 2 sacks today- almost 3. i like his containment on the run too- that has really impressed me- he seems to maintain his gap and roll off the tackle like a veteran at times. and his ability to cover the pass is a fucking bonus. i'm stoked about our defensive potential for this season and the future.

  5. befor this year every draft every one said we need to fiex are defensive and we did by the draft and by sign key players such as mark fields cousin both rucker resign now if we couid just sign 3or 4 key players and draft a QB or RB or WR or TE if woe couid do this i wouid say we couid have a very good team in 2years from now

i think we could have a GOOD team next year, dukey. all we need is a competent offense that can put up 20 points. i say the NO game is the point of action for us making a QB decision- i say we start peete, if we win, we ride peete to stay competitive, who knows what can happen. if we lose, we go with fasani (or weinke  ), and see what they have. we'll have 7 games to analyze the qb situation. i think fasani may have something- he needs to work on ball delivery, followthrough, etc.. but he has the potential to possibly be good. WR is a must, as is TE and rb.

  7. weinke is to old to be a OB in NFL is 30years old overall thinks it was a badi dea to Draft weinke
