Proposed Division I-A National Playoffs (by me...haha)

1. Not exactly sure how one goes about going behind someone's back on a message board. It's here for all to see.

2. When we interacted, you generally did behave, even though we argued. I had nothing to react against, and never really have for some reason one on one. It's just when others get involved. Now, if someone's going to ask me, what do you think of this, I'll probably give it then. That said, I give respect when given. I'm not one to bring this shit into another thread.



3. I didn't really like it when I heard my name was being brought into you vs "the Lair" at that last blow up. And I remember having somethings to say about/in response to that, so maybe this is where that is coming from. And I really don't think anything I said anything way out in left field. Like I said, I can't take credit for the material.

4. No one here cares, I imagine/hope for them. PM me if you have issues with what I said. I'm not going to go out of my way to pick that sort of fight with you.

If anyone watched the halftime show of the UNI-ASU 1-AA National Championship Game, Jim Donnan gave a rundown of a mock 1-A playoff. Although it was of the top 8 teams in the BCS, it still brings alot of intrigue on "What If..".

 

Good. Saw Trey, Dave, Primus, NMA, and Ween. They had a cheesy Frank Sinatra and Marylin Monroe. Best constume was a guy with a tiger attached to him and a Roy constume. Only one I wanted to see was Flaming Lips that I didn't see.

 

how about that one announcer doing the app/uni game saying that a playoff would "ruin" D1A football. these bowl appologists really piss me off.

 

They just had a fan poll and it was pretty obvious what the fans want.

the same clown also said that with the bowl system D1A has 25 champions and D1AA has only 1......you cant make this shit up.

I heard that...Which is retarded. Bowl games have winners that end their season on a winning note...a 1-A National Playoff allows a team to end their season on a winning note on top of the mountain.

 

Yeah, I also noticed that poll during the game. While without a doubt some people want a 1-A playoff, I'm highly skeptical as to whether it's that big a demand for a national playoff? I think the fact that they were televising a playoff championship and probably 90 percent of the viewers (the same people who then logged on to espn.com and answered the poll) were fans of the two 1-AA teams that were playing and not casual fans of Division 1-A football, it's kinda makes the poll biased.
