Unlike certain Niners fans   :), I'm willing the recognize the Heels for what they are.........almost the worst D-1 team in the country.

yeah, yeah, yeah.....I know my alma mater doesn't have football. But since I've married into an Ohio State family, I'll claim the Bucks, who for the record are OVERRATED at #6 this season.

#11-15 would be a much better fit for them.

Not even close to the worst team in the country unless you are talking the BCS conferences. Even then I can still think of a handful of teams from every BCS conference that they could beat.

    Big East - Temple
    Big 10 - Indiana
    Pac 10 - Arizona
    Big 12 - Baylor
    ACC - Duke
    SEC - Vandy

How's that? Just off the top of my head. Iowa State comes to mind too. So does Illinois and Stanford.

I haven't even gotten to the real dregs of college yet. The Armys, Buffalo, UTEP, SMU, any directional Lousiana team.

Just because you pay attention only to things in North Carolina doesn't mean the rest of us are that way.

all of those are barn burners, I'll give you that. Iowa St., Zona, Illinois, and Stanford crush you on a neutral field.

    We'll see about Duke.

He went to Va tech. He is simply pointing out the inaccuracy of your statement about UNC not being able to beat anyone from a BCS conference.

Thank you. Could give two shits about UNC. I just like telling people how wrong they are. Also got tired of people trolling to tell me - over and over - how UNC is the worst team in Div 1. They are not. Unless you are a message board troll who gets his kicks going from thread to thread arguing about it.

Iowa State is WAY small, can't stop anyone, and is still living off last year's rep. Illinois and Arizona are so in the tank they couldn't beat 11 of us right now. Forgot Indiana. They are awful too. He's probably right about Stanford. That one probably is a reach. Kind of even like them this weekend against UCLA. But they are still the bottom of the Pac-10. I'd say none of the teams I listed would be favored at UNC. Neutral field would probably be around 3-4. If that.

But the point is that UNC is not even close to the worst team in 1-A. Worst team of the people who troll this board? Sure. I guess. Duke may prove they are at some point.
