The same goes for you. You guys really ought to change jobs though. No one should be so anti-death penalty and be employed as an executioner.

    Not even close.

The religion is Islam. And it tells me to go out and whack infidels. So I'm heading to the mall where the heathens hang out.

So I'm sure the government will have little problem with it (or shouldn't anyway since I'm using religion to back me), wouldn't you agree?

Islam is a false religion and not used as the bases for our system of laws so you are out of luck.

In other words, the buck stops on religious justification of secular laws when you don't like the religion.

Yes, if you want to argue about Islam and Christianity there are plenty of threads already going on it.

In the mean time we are a chrisitian nation and our laws are based on the Bible which allows for capital punishment but not infidel whacking at the mall.

:D I was trying to avoid the obvious stuff when it comes to picking and choosing the Old Testament. Y'know....slaves, stoning your kids, multiple wives, etc.

Obviously some laws in the Old Testament were meant only for the jews at that time in history. Capital punishment, however, was still being used at the time of Christ and He did not oppose it.
