Here is what it teaches, read my post above and you will see it is already in this thread:

four Catholic bishops either barred Mr. Kerry by name from taking Communion in their dioceses or said pro-choice Catholics should be denied the sacrament

so the rest do not concur, then how do you reconcile the others not taking the same stance? I mean you must have an opinion grounded in catholic doctrine; or are you just some dolt trying to reek havoc?

I have seen no quotes from the Pope saying these four bishops were wrong.

I dont need a whole lot of catholic doctrine to know that they are oppose to killing babies and that those who support doing so are not worthy of communion.

Therefore Kerry does support abortion, he is not catholic.

He is pretending to be catholic to court the catholic vote.

Sorry man but in the United States an elected leader represents all his constituents, being a closet facist I can see how you would be confused. It's not having to go to church on sunday if you work.

Elected officals represent lots of religions. That does not make them members of said religion.

I think this thread was a bit politically motivated from the start. Perhaps a better title for the thread would be Catholics who use Birth Control(condom, the pill, or surgical procedure), after all the Catholic doctrine does not really support sex for pleasure. My view on catholics and birth control is this, Nature was created for us to enjoy and take care of, as humans we are part of nature and I sure like the to enjoy the pleasure of my wife while using some sort of birth control. If I was a practicing catholic, would that give me a conflict of interest . . . Nope, How many devote catholics can say they or their partner never used birth control? Perhaps many “catholics” out there deserve some type of bashing then?

And I'm not saying abortion is a form of Birth control. Surgical procedure above refers to the “tube tie” or the “snip snip” for men

What are other the religious beliefs on Birth control?
