I'm afraid that games like last night are a preview of all NFL games in 10 years.

 

It's a game that shouldn't exist in the first place. Football is too dangerous for a completely meaningless all star game. It's a shameless cash grab by the NFL.

 

They used to take the game seriously before they made so much money. That completely changed the injury equation.

 

I thought this year's probowl was about as competitive and played with about as much effort as I can remember. It wasn't bad at all, really. Considering efforts to avoid injuries, etc., I thought it was a decently played game.

 

Im disapointed in nikes lack of imagination with the unis this year...reebok won that round.

 

if they want to make the game interesting, put up more money just like they did for the All-Star race in NASCAR... it's a no points race strictly for cash and it's the most exciting race of the season

the network covering the game could up the winnings to $500k per player and make it back in ratings & advertising easily

 

not a bad idea, though would they limit playing time so the 2nds and 3rds (QBs primarily) would get to play?

 

They don't need to make it interesting, they just need it to be profitable, and it is.
