    I don't think there's much doubt based on how he started the season that Thomas Davis would've been at least first alternate if not starter, given that Ware and Briggs didn't have hugely successful seasons (Ware did pick it up after that first slump) and the 3rd was Orakpo.

    Smith, Kalil, and Beason were 2nd alts.

    Thomas Davis was definitely having a Pro Bowl year prior to his injury.
