Oh no, with any method of eating to lose weight, I think a person should exercise at least 3 times a week, but 5 if possible.

One thing I can't stand is to see the skin sag on some people. I figure if you can lose it, you should be able to do something to tone up a little.

I'm no fitness or diet expert but I just get this feeling that most people do these strict Atkins type diets becuase they don't require excercise. I'd rather excercise and eat what I like in moderation.

thats me, i will watch what i eat, but i aint gonna eat "shit" the rest of my life...i will do cardio for 30 min every morning, 5 mornings a week. I guess that type of diet is for the older people? Not making fun of that, I just dont know why someone would diet w/o excersise.

the stigma with carbs is a bit overhyped. if you're heading to the gym, some carbs an hr or two beforehand can make for an excellent workout. don't shy away from them just because of the atkins. they are an EXCELLENT source of energy to give you that extra boost. just don't overdo them.

I'm sure it works great, but without cheese, pizza, alcohol, carbs, or fried food I'd rather go ahead and die.

nothing wrong with a fat cheesy pizza, as long as it is your only meal of the entire day.

losing weight is simple. Burn more than you take in.
