how is that relevant? there hasn't been anybody who could handle Shaq... ever? maybe russel or chamberlain. but neither were as big or strong as shaq.

seriously, that's possibly the dumbest argument ever.

Most NBA teams are full of players that can't handle Garnett or Shaq so whats your point?

as good as May has been it pains me to say that Redick is the POY.

May has great numbers but they are about the same as Sheldon Williams with less blocks and comparable to Eric Williams. Redick's scoring stands out this season - hard to not give it to him.

Don't know about that. He shoots good from 3pt range, although I think he is 7th or 8th in the ACC. He can't shoot any better from 2pt range. He is still somewhat one dimensional. He probably will get it since he plays for dook, but if he were on clemson doing the same thing he wouldn't even be talked about.

true - scorers don't always get the accolades, especially if they are playing for losing teams. I think what hurts May is so many points are spread amongst so many players - if there wasn't so much help around him and he played more minutes I can easily see him putting up 6 more points a game - that would probably make him a lock for POY.
