All sarcasm aside, and from what I've read here and numerous blogs, and along with the NFC South looking mighty tough this year, I think we might have a real shot at 8-8. Maybe better, but after 2-14, go Panthers.

I would be really happy with 7-9.

Our 2009 team (12-4) would be 8-8 vs this schedule...

After seeing Clausen's comments about making the bad throw I am willing to concede the decision and let him take the rap for a pretty bad pass. Regardless, if you don't think you can throw it where your guy is going to get it, don't throw it.

I don't know if we can the financial position can be improved but just thinking about the roster spot, which is really valuable. I would rather have three TEs with different skill sets. I don't really know what Shockey brings that is unique or different and if I'm choosing between Oleson and him...

Glad you had a good time. It was cool even though it was raining I enjoyed the game.

Quoted from another thread: "Olsen is a vertical threat who can challenge defenses down the seams, while Shockey would be more of an underneath possession-type option." They're really not that similar overall. Plus you want Shockey's experience and moxie on a team this young. Barnidge had a nice first preseason game and I wouldn't mind carrying four tight ends, but ultimately I don't think he ever develops into something more than a backup, so it's not like keeping him over someone like Shockey helps the future any. Since Chud will use a lot of 2 TE, keeping four is a possibility, although keeping four RBs as well as a hefty dose of LBs & CBs will squeeze the roster.

That reminded me about how it didn't suck to watch wet cheerleaders in white uniforms on TV. I don't know if they've gotten any prettier, but some definitely got enhancements.
