Prequel to Silence of the Lambs

  2. The Michael Mann movie called "Manhunter" was based on Red Dragon, apparently. It's more an action/thriller than horror/thriller... I remember when silence of the lambs was big, they retitled it and put it on TV. They called it "Red Dragon, the Curse of Hannibal Lechter". How lame is that?

    'Manhunter' had William Peterson ('CSI') in it. Good movie. Y'all should read 'Red Dragon' and 'Silence of the Lambs' if you haven't. You learn a great deal more about Lector than the movies let on.

    Exactly. Though I haven't read the book "Silence of the Lambs", I thought the movie was excellent. As soon as I heard they were making "Red Dragon" again, I had to read it. Very good.

    Oh yeah, Manhunter was ok, didn't really stand out like Silence did. I would put it on par with Hannibal.
