vp, in the name of anti censorship, the posters of that censored site deserve an outlet. actually Larry was our original mod at charlotte.com and he made the suggestion a few posts up.

how many times have I been banned? it has never stopped me. I still have a user name left or two that is active. it doesn't matter because that site will be dead, except for Memphis.

An open letter to jcl49er

This will be my only comment on this jcl. It's better that way. And you will note that I've been conspicuously ABSENT from making any comments other than that I admitted to asking for the invasion to be organized.

I've not made any accusations. Glad you saved my PMs, they show how ticked off I was. Post the emails should you choose, I've never mentioned any moderators being involved with actions that I have admitted were mine due to Mr. Conway's actions or should I really say, lack thereof. There was no need to deny that I was involved since it was already evident TBR was doing it and therefore I had to be the culprit by the process of elimination. Is "one of the mods gave his blessings to it as long as it was limited to the Memphis boards" involvement? Did I complain, yes I did to no avail on any moderator's part. Had I been asked to stop it, it could have been stopped at that time. And as for it being called off, I posted above here to do so when asked by MK at 12:34pm (see page 5). I also know that doesn't mean anything in the big picture either. Did I say I wanted the photos out, yes I did, no denial by me and it was time for them to go as well. You wrote above that you personally were upset at the Memphis people; if there's smoke, there's fire my friend, you were in a position to handle the quickly worsening situation as well as the others. Did I snap over it, yep. Have I talked badly of CUSA Talk here or there? Nope. But answer me this, did it get everyone's attention? I think so. One known fact is that many Charlotte posters complained and from what I've heard the situation continues to deteriorate. If I'm wrong there, please correct me.

You say you've I've worked hard and long on the site. I'll give you props but others of us did a bit as well by being active and loyal posters. Remember you were once on the goCarolinas.com and the old Charlotte.com boards and why we left them. Without the posters, you've got nothing. Give us a little credit too. I've been banned and I accept that freely but I also will say the philosophy of CUSA Talk has changed from its inception, most notably to that of what I'll call the Conway principle recently.

I sincerely want your, Mac, MK, gruehls, Jax, err, Mr. Conway's board to do well. I do mean that. It's apparent I had nothing to contribute anyway. I'm not name calling, let's see if your people there are the same. (I can hear the Memphis posters, led by Mr. Conway, chanting for my ass on kpigout's grill.) Let the posters sign up and call me every word here they wish.

If your reputation is tarnished I publicly apologize here for any role I've played in it. jcl, I called you a friend before and I will call you one tomorrow. I had my principles and felt that strongly about them. That's all I'm saying on the subject.

I was metrosucks on cusatalk but was banned because of metros' whining and complaining. Despite his accusations, I'm not MK.

It's nice to be able to post ass instead of a$$, especially dealing with metropuss.

 

because, like the prepsters, they would bring dozens and dozens of new members and their forum would be active as hell.
