    True, but that was pretty much the limit of it. Berlusconi bought those three at the same time to give Milan some credibility, but you didn't really see the wholesale raping of the Dutch League until the late '90s. Now we never have a star stay with the team past 25 or so.

    That is more because of the EU stuff than anything else. The money has obviously helped, but Bosman, the removal of the 3 foreigner limit, and the expansion of the EU are the main reasons.

    Anyway - everyone (well, at least everyone except PSV & Feyernoord) like Ajax.
