You all get constipated all the time??

 

They usually do. It slows down the digestive process due to crowding of the intestines.

 

We think it's the prenatal pill doing it. We've stopped them for the time being to see. That and she's eating more fiber than should be humanly possible.

 

When she's especially grumpy tell her that she sure has gotten big. They LOVE that!

have her drink a glass of metamucil (or its equivalent) once a day. she won't like it, but it beats chipping the porcelin.

 

Thanks. I bought some of that last week and no she doesn't like it. It got better and now it's bad again. Guess this is how it's going to be til January 5.

 

my wife is the same way. can't stand the stuff, but it's effective. the trick is to keep drinking it cuz it's not exactly fast acting. if you only drink it when you think you need it, it's not going to help. if you quit drinking it once it's worked, then it's just going to happen again.

my wife has some unflavored variety that she mixes with juice. she uses orange juice so the texture is better masked by the pulp.

 

Good idea with the mixing with juice. I'll tell that to the wifey.
